All excess debris must be removed before the mold can be used again successfully.\u00a0 Cleaned molds must be stored properly to guarantee mold safety while the mold is not in use. Also, proper mold storage simplifies the picking process when the mold is needed again.<\/p>\n<p><strong> Scrub-A-Dub<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Molds must be cleaned after each use. Molds should be left in the soaking bins for at least 5 minutes before cleaning.\u00a0 Scrub molds thoroughly with the disposable mold scrubber pads.\u00a0 Pay special attention to edges.\u00a0 Rinse molds with running water if it is available.\u00a0 If running water is not available, use a container of tap water. (Remember to change the rinse container water frequently.)\u00a0 Spray rinsed molds immediately with Q-Spray and wipe them dry.\u00a0 <strong>Never store a wet mold.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>TIP: Thoroughly clean and dry all molds. Anything left on a mold can cause an issue the next ti<\/strong><strong>me<\/strong><strong> it is used. This includes water spots. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Q-2100 Lens System comes with several hundred digital free form molds.\u00a0 It is very important that they are stored properly in order to keep them organized.\u00a0 Each space in the mold storage unit is labeled for one specific mold.\u00a0 Make sure the mold you place there is the right one.<\/p>\n<p>Pick a clean and dry mold.\u00a0 Read the mold designation near the edge of the mold and find the proper storage location in the storage unit.\u00a0 Put the mold back into its wrapper and put it into the allotted space.\u00a0 Do not put a mold into a space that is already occupied by another mold.\u00a0 Be careful not to bump molds against anything while storing them.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.opticaldynamics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/Mold-Drawer.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-1889\" title=\"Mold Drawer\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.opticaldynamics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/Mold-Drawer.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"359\" height=\"187\" \/><\/a><strong>TIP: Always store molds properly.
